Inspiration

I woke up this morning with seveveral "tion" words scrolling through my semi-consciousness. Persistent as they were, they almost demanded a display. I put them to good use in this poem:

Inspiration

In humility we direct our thoughts,
To petition for divine supplication,
And to help in our enduring efforts
To deliver from sharp tribulation.

The trees give way to the cool air breeze
And envelop into stilled contemplation.
The mysteries unfold in due greatness,
As we pursue in quiet meditation.

Is our burdensome difficulties and hardship
The catalyst of primary motivation?
Or is our quest for pure knowledge,
The process of receiving abiding inspiration?

Is there hope for the merciful deliverance
For the world and all her generation;
If one man shuns not the cup
And dies, for mankind in dedication?

Forgivness is born of tender mercy,
When might yields to consecration.
Wonders and miracles infinitely abound
When we receive His glorious approbation.

Buoy up your hearts in cheerfulness!
Grief one day cedes to great restoration
We will share in love never ending
And together we embrace in mutual adoration.

Stand tall to the storms that threaten!
For blessings await beyond imagination.
Persist in your cause in everlasting courage
For angels will await your celebration!
